Blog Debut
This is my first blog ever, I have been meaning to get round to blogging forever, but haven't had the time or the inspiration. But here goes...........
I suppose the momentous happening this week will be Hattie going up to high school. She will be starting her Grade 9 year at Regiopolis Notre Dame, in Kingston, Ontario. She graduated from Thousand Island Elementary School in June 2009, and will be embarking upon the International Baccalaureate course at what is known as "Regie". It is apparently the oldest English Catholic School in Canada. She has to catch one of those yellow school buses at 7.04am from the village post office, so how the heck we are going to manage that I just haven't a clue!!!!!
David is busy completing his cartoon strip for "The Walrus" which is amazing. I am studiously avoiding mowing the lawn by pursuing another equally boring job which is tidying my craft space and changing the furniture round so the room looks bigger. This job has led me to believe that I should have a sort of craft yard sale to sell some of the miriad crafting things that I do not use any more. I think that David really suspects that the whole point of doing that would be to make space to put more things. which is ridiculous!!!!
This week brings the resumption of my card workshops. The first one is at Lyndhurst Library on Wednesday afternoon and the next is on Thursday afternoon in Newboro. I have a wonderful and enthusiastic band of crafters who come to my workshops, and I enjoy them immensely, and really look forward to showing the ladies new crafting techniques.
You will see a photo of my stationery set which I made using a template lifted from Splitcoast Stampers and given it my "stamp" as it were. Hope you like it.
